DISCLAIMER

Please note that property values on this site are continuously being updated and are a work in progress throughout the year. The final values are certified in October of each year.

The Highlands County Property Appraiser makes every effort to produce and publish the most current and accurate information possible. No warranties, expressed or implied, are provided for the data herein, its use, or its interpretation.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:

PROPERTY VALUES, EXEMPTION STATUS AND OTHER INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

All square footage estimates are derived from exterior wall measurements which is the standard in the appraisal industry. Builders frequently use interior dimensions and they may differ from those on our records. Before requesting a review, property owners may want to verify their square footage by taking external wall measurements themselves.

Highlands County Property Appraiser's GIS data has been created using the best available sources and is intended for general informational use only and is constantly being updated and is subject to change without notice. Currently we have only produced approximately 95 percent of the tax parcels for Highlands County. A much smaller percentage of that data has been quality control checked.

THE GIS DATA IS A BETA ONLY VERSION AND IS SUBJECT TO SIGNIFICANT CHANGE. THEREFORE ANYONE USING THIS DATA DOES SO AT SAID USER'S RISK. THE HIGHLANDS COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER’S OFFICE ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY FOR THIS DATA’S UNINTENDED USE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEED TRANSFERS OR SURVEYS OF ANY TYPE) OR CONSEQUENCES ARISING THEREFROM.
